Phase 1: Foundation and Layout

Every great Minecraft build begins with a solid foundation. To start your Small Oak House in Minecraft, clear out a flat patch of land. You will begin by placing your 85 Oak Logs to form the primary structural pillars of the house. Placing logs vertically creates a sense of strength and frames the build beautifully.

During this phase, you will also want to map out the exterior garden. Dig out the dirt and replace it with the 23 blocks of Farmland. Work your way up from both sides until they meet in the middle. To cap off the very top peak of the roof, use your 57 Oak Slabs. Slabs give the top ridge a smoother, less jagged appearance. If you want to break up the monotonous oak texture, you can even outline the very outer trim of the roof using your leftover Stone Bricks!

Phase 4: Interior Detailing and Functionality

Now that the exterior is fully weather-proof, step inside to finalize your cozy survival sanctuary. Since the interior footprint is compact, efficiency is key. Place your crafting table, furnaces, and double chests snugly against the walls.
